ACTIVITIES

➔ AllTrails is an app that has a free version that will show you trails in the area geared for all levels of experience and activity. There are miles and miles of trail heads that are breathtaking (both in beauty and in low oxygen!)

➔Lake Dillon – There are a number of places to rent from there and it is a great way to spend a day on the lake. If you are kayaking, the West side of the lake tends to be less windy and has a few islands to visit. Also, the morning tends to be less windy than the afternoon.

➔If you like river rafting, we have had a lot of fun in Buena Vista and the drive, although about 40 – 50 min, is beautiful.  There are a number of companies there that have years of experience.

➔For a surprisingly fun and low effort activity, biking from Vail pass to Frisco is almost down hill all the way. There are a number of bike shops in town that will rent you bikes and take you up.
