➔Wildlife – You may see Foxes, Moose, Deer, Chipmunks, and more, and we have from the comfort of our deck. Please remember not to feed the animals nor approach them, although beautiful they are wild. ➔Not so wildlife – There are a few dogs that belong to the permanent neighbors including, but not limited to, Baldy. Baldy will occasionally stop by the house and lounge on the porch or near the back door hoping to catch a belly rub. Baldy also looks like a wolf :)
➔ Please keep all trash indoors / in the *closed* garage. Just please tie up your bags and keep them in the garage. We don't want to give the bears any reasons to come visit our neighborhood! If you do have an excess build-up of trash during your stay, feel free to reach out to us.
➔ Grill – If you have not used a Pellet Grill before, you are in for a treat! There is a hopper in the back for pellets, make sure it is at least halfway full. The power button is on the panel on the left hand side. Turn it on and then turn the dial to the desired temperature and go! The grill will maintain your desired temperature. ➔ Hot Tub – The black bar on the cover is so that one person can open and close the cover. Flip the front back, and then lift. On the control panel it is set to go, Arrows up and down will change temperature and there are buttons 1 and 2 for activating the jets in the tub ➔Arcade – There are a few hundred of the classic arcade games loaded. To pick different games:
From any screen press and hold the “1 player” button until the screen changes (usually ~2 seconds)

➔We are so happy you are here! Please keep in mind that it is our family’s home when not rented and we ask that you treat it kindly. Enjoy yourself and this special place! ➔ Absolutely NO SMOKING in the home. Any smoking or vaping must be done outside.
➔ If there is anything missing when you arrive, or any damage done during your stay (we understand these things happen) please report it immediately to us. This is to avoid having any overcharges when you leave. ➔ Quiet hours after 10PM

ACTIVITIES
➔ AllTrails is an app that has a free version that will show you trails in the area geared for all levels of experience and activity. We are located at the edge of a national forest and within a mile from here are old mines and miles and miles of trail heads that are breathtaking (both in beauty and in low oxygen!)
➔Lake Dillon – There are a number of places to rent from there and it is a great way to spend a day on the lake. If you are kayaking, the West side of the lake tends to be less windy and has a few islands to visit. Also, the morning tends to be less windy than the afternoon.
➔If you like river rafting, we have had a lot of fun in Buena Vista and the drive, although about 40 – 50 min, is beautiful. There are a number of companies there that have years of experience.
➔For a surprisingly fun and low effort activity, biking from Vail pass to Frisco is almost down hill all the way. There are a number of bike shops in town that will rent you bikes and take you up.
